Colourful lakes (Kolorowe Jeziorka)
Poland is our top country where to go when we feel overwhelmed. It’s for many reasons, fast to be there from Prague, easy to find nice apartments for normal price and mostly, it’s feel like home for us. These COLOURFUL LAKES was something what we need to visit. Did we already told you about our love to the water? We was lucky enough and when we arrived to the forest, the rain stoped and then sun was slowly sinking. Forest after rain feel magical, right? The parking is for free and near to parking lot you find place where you can sleep in a car for 10PLN (2.13 EUR)
There are 3 lakes there. To the yellow and purple one is kinda easy and short way with the tunnel carved in the rocks. Near to them you can sit, buy something for snack (in the summer) or just have good time. Anyway don’t be stupid and when you find some polish guy in reviews talking about the easy way which is possible to do with a pram. Remember, he is polish guy, they are different, they are able to do anything (another reason why we like Poland) and probably he is talking only about the way to the yellow and purple one.
The 3rd lake is blue and the way up there? It’s nothing too hard but absolutely go there in normal hiking or sport shoes not like half of our expedition, in Vans slip on shoes. The way through the forest after rain with sun shining through trees was maybe the same enjoyment as the lakes. But the memory what comes up in our mind as first, is the way down. Really most predictable thing. Forest after rain, sun goes quickly down, bad shoes and steep hill. You know what happened… Gentle reminder that the lakes must be colourful for some reason (pyrite mining) so don’t forget water and disinfection just in case.
